Seaconsult UK is the trading entity through which the consultancy services of Ian Russell and associates are offered. Clients will benefit from 30 years of practical hydrographic experience in both government and commercial sectors and extensive academic involvement (Maritime and Environmental disciplines) with Southampton Institute of Higher Education now Southampton Solent University.

The name perpetuates that of Seaconsult Ltd which was formed to provide top quality advice in the various sea surveying disciplines. The company underwent a series of changes culminating in absorption into a larger entity.

Seaconsult UK revives the personal service element of its predecessor. It aims to meet a more focused perception of client needs in the related fields of Hydrography, navigation safety and maritime zone delimitation. There is an emphasis on training and education as a means of contributing to sustainable development in territories where this is an identified need and consistent with national objectives. This area has been identified from involvement in a variety of international projects.
